Review (from Wine Enthusiast Magazine): "86/100 Extra Dry, in this case, really means slightly sweet, in the crazy language of sparkling wine. But don't let that stop you from enjoying this blend of Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and French Columbard. It's clean, zesty and delightful to drink, with strawberry, lime, orange zest, sourdough bread and vanilla flavors."
My Review: We had this champagne served chilled, and we did not have it with any food. When I smelled the wine, I got strong smells of apple, pear, and citrus. When I tasted the wine, I felt that the citrus flavors were the strongest, and I got background tastes of apples and berries. Even though this wine was labeled as extra dry, I did not really agree with that characterization. I did not get any of the mouth-pucker feel that I usually get with dry wines, so I would say that this wine was relatively sweet. I thought this wine was pretty acidic, and it had a light body that gave it a very refreshing feel. Overall, I think this was a very good champagne that I could see myself getting for occasions, and I also see it mixing well in other drinks like mimosas.
